Backyardigans

LMAO.  I love the Backyardigans.  That's the one show I can stand to watch and Jordan loves it.

My opinion is that they are Black with the exception of one Hispanic friend and the lone pink nerdy friend (Austin.)

I hadn't thought about the backdoor thing.

I making these assumptions based on the shows that I've watched and the live show that I went to.  Which, those characters were played by the nationalities listed above...lol.

They're trying to be multi-cultural!  I guess that's ok with me lol.  The funny part is that my daughter has always said that she is Uniqua..she's 4, go figure.  I guess they pick up on it too..lol

I've got toddlers and watch the show too.  My husband and I came to the same conclusion that Lana did.  Uniqua and Tyrone are black, Pablo is Hispanic and Tash and Austin are white.  Then we decided that we were in too deep.  LOL!

I'm fairly new and don't post that much.  I'm also an ex foster parent for Cherokee county.  We quit fostering last year.  One of my kids was adopted from the foster care system and the other through a private adoption.  We took kids 0-4 and the majority were under 2 years old.  We had some awesome kids.
