So today is my first day back to work. I feel ready and it is a light work day today but I am having this irritating pain on my left side it goes and comes.  It did not start until after I ate two saltines with a little tuna salad.  It is really irritating.  Anyway other than that I have been feeling pretty good.  Still trying to get all my protein and water in. Well just checkin in family have a great weekend.

Glad to hear everything is going well.  The pain will pass; just take it easy.  I wouldn't try to eat that again for a little while (maybe the saltines I wouldn't eat again).  You have a great weekend also.

In the list of soft foods my surgeon and nut gave me they said I could have toast bread and saltines.  So if I eat saltines which is not often I eat two only and chew them well.

Even though you say that crackers are on your surgeon's list, I would steer clear of them for a LOOONG while. Your pouch is still a baby...in all actuality, I would steer clear of any such carb, to include bread, rice, pasta, etc for a good little bit.

Glad to hear that you are back at work.    One thing about food newbie just because your docs say you can have a certain item dosnt mean that your pouch is ready for it.  I had trouble with meat and hard vegatables for about 6 mounths.  So if  your pouch is hurting try something else on your list ok Ma......then later on you can try those foods again. I am 5 years out and I can tolerate meat pretty well now.....however if the meat is tough or greasy or dry it comes right back up
