Am I wrong for this???????

Ok - I have a SERIOUS problem with giving GROWN MEN money....... for any charitiable reason.  When I am approached by bums - if the mofo got all hands, legs and feet - I ain't giving up NO scrilla!!!!!

My next door neighbor's son is a crackhead/beggar/stupid azz.  Last night he rings my doorbell at 11PM.... TWICE..... I stayed in the bed on the first ring, thinking the mofo would get the message I wasn't going to answer - then he rang AGAIN!!  I had to get up cause I didn't want him to keep ringing it and wake up babygirl.  I talked to the mofo through the door - he gave some story and asked me for $20........

HELL TO THE NAW BOBBY!!!!!  Not that I haven't EVER helped bruhman out.... when the lights was off at their place and his cell phone charge ran out - I plugged it up at my place.  When I was driving home in the rain and saw him walking home... I gave him a ride.  So I am not without charity at all.................

BUT I DO NOT DO THE $$$!!!!  I hate to throw the single parent 'banner' out there - but hell - I EARN that label - work my AZZ off!!!!  I get NO help from baby daddy so I am VERY territorial about my 'ends'!!!!!! 

And umm - the only thing worse than an able bodied BLACK man asking me for $$ is when the pink ones do...... I feel like 'all you gotta do is SHAVE and put a SUIT ON - you could be my boss!!!!'   (ok - that's totally racial and prejudice of me..... at least I ADMIT it!!!!)

so - do you give money to grown azz men?  I just can't do it!!!!

I will help a brother get in a better situation by pointing him in the right direction or telling him some good stuff or even being an encouraging person but i'm never going to give him any cash or anything like that.

I feel sometimes the best help you can be to someone is by not helping. So im going to let you hurt and man up to get yourself straight then i'll be there to help you get straight but until you prove to me that your trying to get straight then your not getting any help.

See - some folk try to tell me I should 'help a brother out'....... I had a dude approach me at the grocery store looking for donations to start up a cleaning company...... that employed ex-felons!!!  I was like.... ummm - HELL NAW!!!!!  He tried to tell me that the 'sistas' needed to be more supportive of the 'brothers'......

I PROMPTLY went off on him about how I AM being motherf**king supportive of the BABY I have by a damn ex-felon who ain't paying JACK on child support!!!  How much MORE do I have to pay 'the brothers' in this mofo???!!!!!!!

I have YET to see someone back pedal faster.......

  @ crackhead/beggar/stupid azz!  I can't get with the give money program for a man or a woman.  I'm down for charity and helping out but don't make me feel like I got to figure your beggin' azz into my monthly bills.  That's a No-No!

When I moved here in 2004, I was very gullible and I really hated to see folks begging ( I moved from overseas, had lived there for 20 years, so I was not used to it).

My sister came to visit me, I was walking down town DC with her, this guy was begging, I felt sorry for him.  I had a coin purse that I dump my change, so I dumped the change in his hand, trust me, it had to be at least $10.00.  This man said "CHANGE??, you don't have no dollar bills?, I felt bad because I thought I offended him, so I told him to give it back to me...guess what..that mug did, I walked off and he yelled at me to come back with his money, which had folks looking at me like I had robbed the homeless...that was a wake up call and now...nope, I don't give like that any more.

No he did NOT try to be particular about BILLS vs. CHANGE!!!!!!  LOL 

yea - I would have to 'hang it up' after that too......

Generally speaking, If I can't claim you as a dependent.....NOPE!  I'm all for helping a fellow man or woman but if you are a KNOWN abuser or able-bodied, I can't give away money.   I'll offer you a ride, something to eat, articles of clothing if you're lacking.

Specifically speaking, the Lord has placed it upon my heart at times to give even when I was down to my last little bit, and it was returned tenfold, so it really does vary with me.
