I want to thank everyone especially Faith for the support.  I had my surgery on Monday and was discharged yesterday.  I'm staying with a friend until my mom comes Friday.  So far, all has been fine just dealing with all this gas.  I had a problem in the hospital with not being able to urinate once the foley catheter was taken out.  They wanted to put another one in but I begged them to give me time to actually get some liquids in and finally mid Thursday it was a go.  I haven't had any other problems since then.

I'm having a hard time just resting...I feel like I should be doing something.  I actually can't wait to get back to work.  Well, I guess I'll go for a walk and keep sipping.

Thank you all again.

Glad to hear that you're back at home. Try sleeping in a recliner...that may help.

Congrats!

You are very welcome.  Welcome to the loser's bench Angie. I am happy to hear that your issue was resolved.  I will call you later to check on you.

The warmth from a heating pad or ho****err bottle will help a lot with all the trapped air.  Take it easy and wishing you a speedy recoverry.

Hi Angie,
I am so glad to hear that you are feeling and getting around better.  The gas will eventually go away.  Keep walking when and if you can it really helps.  I will keep you in my prayers.

Thank you guys.  I'm feeling better as the minutes go by.  I'm still having a hard time just relaxing...feel like I should be doing something.  I asked my surgeon if I could start back going to the gym and he's like yes but you can't sweat....so what's the point.  I'll catch up on movies or do some reading for now.  Thank you all again for the support.
