Does he/she know you are going in the hospital for surgery?
If so, he/she is probably worried about it and it may be causing him/her to have the nightmares since it's on his/her mind.
I would try to explain that the surgery will make you healthier so you will be around for him/her as they grow up.

He knows about the surgery, but it's not like we're constanly talking about it.  I will see if that's what bothering him. Come to think of it, I didn't even ask him. Thanks, Kim.

Poor thing...it sounds like he's experiencing anxiety from the procedure your about to have.  He could benefit from some non caffeine sleepy time tea to help him relax.

Even though Ive heard that dreams are from our subconcious mind....

I would have a nice long talk with him.......he's old enough to try to understand what your about to undertake. Wishing you and him the best of luck.

Congrats on your upcoming surgery....your beautiful already...add some renewed health to it and you gone be the total package

Thanks Pretty!! We've talked about the surgery a few times, but not many although we did just have another conversation the other day. He went with me to the informational meeting as well. I'll talk with him again of course.
