How far do YOU go?

We as women have a great "intuition" and when something seems to good to be true (listen to that inner you)...

Never could a truer statement be made. People will present whatever they want to you to make it seem like everythink is A-ok but reality can be a ***** once you get out of that honeymoon stage.

I am conserative. I think that in this day and age you can never be to cautious. (Let us not forget Jennifer Hudson's family)  I wasn't like that before I had a child though. Now that I have one  I am super cautious. I am responsible for her life and I am not going to put her life in danger because mom is lonely and feels like she needs a man in her life. Forget that nonsense.

Being a Mother does that to you.  I wasn't quite this cautious when I was young and single but now Momma don't play.  Pervs get boys as well as girls and I don't want to have to go to prison for cutting your ass up and burying you in the background.

I threw caution to the wind and just had a good time. But I would never let a guy come over my house until we went on a few dates, always went out in public places for the first few dates (bamas always wanna come over your house or you come to thiers), and no oral until you did me first

Go figure the one man I let come over after our first date I married. It's true....trust your gut.

Well, it depends upon how you met:

Internet/Club/Craigslist/Gas Station/Free Clinic: Dates will always be very public...not trying to bring home someone who just wants to case the place.

Mutual Friends: I trust my friend's judgement, so I just go with the flow on that one.

Getting serious? At this point, I would have already ran a background check (and yes, I let them know), meet his family and friends (that tells you a LOT! - his boys are all crackheads? RUN!!!).

I met Corny two years ago at a conference given by a professional organization that we are both members of. We kept in contact but kept it strictly work related. Maybe it was our history or my intuition, but I trusted him enought to come to my home and drive me around in his car. The only time this has ever happened and it has worked out very well.

Stop calling him Corny!!!!

Once I get a last name I'll let you walk me thru the checking up thing.
