Laser hair removal..... update

About 4 months ago, I started laser hair removal sessions to remove the hair on my chin..... for those of yall considering it - DO IT!!!!  I bought 6 treatments - one every 4-6 weeks and WOW!!!  I am so glad I did it!!!!

Before WLS, I started growing hair on my chin and plucked then shaved it.  After losing weight - the hair still wouldn't go away.  I was up to shaving every other day......... that **** is embarassing!!!

So - I finally found a place that did the treatments without being so expensive and it has really worked!!!  now - I will be the one to tell you that the **** does HURT - don't let NARY mofo tell you 'it's just lil tingling sensations......'

Yea - and the Mount St. Helen eruption was 'just a lil shakin'........ LOL!!!

I was ready to SLAP the **** outta the tech today - that mess stings like the dickens!!!!  They put aloe on your skin right after to soothe it - this ***** got to chatting and was taking her time with the aloe..... I was like....   bring my mofoin aloe HO!!!!   LMAO

Seriously tho - I know a lot of us have problems with hair removal - laser is a GREAT treatment for it if it works for your skin type and you can stand a lil pain!!!

is it like getting a tattoo?

No - cause:

#1 - you pick out a fly design for a tattoo - you siked about that **** - you READY!!!
#2 - you know your design for your tatt - you know EXACTLY when that **** gon end
#3 - most of the time you can WATCH a mofo do your tattoo - ain't no watching the laser ***** - that light will burn ya eyes out!
#4 - You get that tatt - you DONE - you gotta get the damn laser treatments like 6 to 8 times for the same area!!!!!  and ain't no cool design when you done!!!!!  LOL

On the other hand - it is a MUCH shorter time than a tatt..... LOL!!!!!  I would rather have the ink tho..... you can't get no street cred for hair removal..... be like 'I got that BARE CHEST nicca!!!!!'  See - that **** don't work......

I hear its the bomb, for light skinned chicks like yourself. LOL! Secretly I am hating. I tried to get it more than twice and was told after each visit, my hair was not thick enough or dark enough. My skin colored concealed the little bit of 'peach fuzz' that I have. But it doesn't look all peachy to me.

Okay I can speak for the dark skinn-ded chicks, I have had my chin, next and another part of my body done and I have no hair on my face.

Isn't there a risk for discoloration for black women or women of color?  I don't have money for it but I thought that it was a little riskier for us because of our skin. I'm glad to hear that it works.

Yeah, that's what I was told when I went for a laser hair removal consult. I have heard that there are specialists that work with people of color, not anywhere up here though. Go figure... I'm jealous and tired of waxing!

How much did the laser treatments cost you?

I got a discount for the package deal - but they came out to $62 per treatment - and it's my chin - all the way to my neckline......
