OT: the tax man cometh......

How do you do your taxes?

- Take em to someone?
- Do them yourself by hand?
- do them yourself with a program?

Are you on time, or down to the wire?

I use TurboTax and usually file by mid Feb.  I don't like to wait till the last minute and I for dang sure don't trust anyone to do them!!!

I do my own taxes with an online program....waiting on my refund now! 

How the Hell did you already file????

My employer has electronic W-2's, so I'm good to go.  My taxes are really cut and dry.  I don't itemize and don't have to wait on any other documentation to arrive via mail.  Did it last night, refund will be here on the 23rd.

We have electronic W-2s also but they ain't that fast.  Must be nice!!

TurboTax for me.  I file usually within a week of receiving all my paperwork.  I don't do late fees...lol!

H&R BLOCK..........I need to find a couple of kids and a dog. They be trying to take me for all I got hard out here on a single person!!!!! 

Stay away from Block...they are crooked!!! My mom took their tax classes last year...they offered her a job and she said NO, her conscience wouldn't let her do it.

I do my own and other peoples too.....I do  taxes every year - that's my part-time gig. I worked at a CPA firm and Jackson-Hewitt last year and used their programs.

Do my own taxes (make $$$ on the side doing others)..

Have no dependents - son is '21'

Almost ALWAYS end up owing...
