Thanks Candace

I have a very addictive personality so I can get addicted to eating bad thing very quickly as I have done all my life.  When I'm not eating candy I become a fruit hound and whil fruit may be better than say a hug bag of M&M's it is still not good to be eating like what 4 oranges a day.

So I have to watch all sweets I consume.   I just love anything sweet, ANYTHING

Lesia you have such great willpower for sticking with your excersise regime. I think you have to think why you can't apply that to your eating. Maybe you should lay off the sweets and simple carbs cold turkey, I've read you mentioning candy quite a few times. You prob would stop craving them after a while.

This is day 3 of no sugars or simple carbs,  I'm taking it one day at a time.  I swear I am a freaking crack head of the candy world.

I'm not going to do low carb however I may drop my carbs because of the simple fact that I know when i'm eating lower carbs I don't crave sugar.

I am done with my cardio for the day.  I suggest taking it one day at time with your junk food I know it is not easy, I love candy also.   Try not to have any in the house or at work, out of sight out of mind .

Cardio bootcamp when I get home today.  Lee I completely understand your issues with candy.  Some people just don't get it.  If you eat some you want more and its a freakin vicious cycle.  I know that I decided over the holidays I decided that I am going to limit eating out lunch to once a week.  Also I need to cut out all this dang happy hours that I go to.  I haven't drunk this much in my life.  This is what I get for moving to small town u.s.a....lol.  So don't beat yourself too bad its gonna happen and 09 is our year to make it happen! Keep up the good work I am right behind you!!

Lesiab are you eating 6 small meals a day or 3 meals and 2 snacks? I think if you eat 6 small meals with protein dense proteins in them that  will help you. The fruit has natural sugar and carbs in them and that triggers your cravings. You beat yourself up too much and you're very hard on yourself. I understand the pull of the junkfood because that stuff even knows my nickname. lol  I know that for your real meals you make healthy choices and in the past you've balanced your protein and carbs but perhaps for a couple of weeks you need to go heavier on protein to see if that works. Maybe you should talk to your nutritionist about this. Take care of yourself and stop beating yourself up.

I really am not hard on myself at all, I wish I were then maybe I could stop eating the way I do but I can't.   I workout like a maniac but I have no control over my junk intake.   I am goint to try my best to keep my carbs lower and my candy out of my eating for a while

Hey Lee, I just started tracking my food on fitday.com.  I think it really keeps you accountable when you see it in black and white.

It's definately worth a try.  I really like it.  It gives a breakdown of carbs, fat, protein....  It also has other graphs and charts that you can look at.
