Say it aint so

This is simply a case of the Obama's in good parenting arrived EARLY in DC so their girls could start school after the break in DC instead of changing mid-month. 

Normally, President elects aren't in DC this early so the guest house was booked for the State Department officials mostly as it wasn't anticipated that the Obamas would be needing it so early.

Hey Plum!  It is normal for the Blair House to be booked well in advance, especially in the months between the election and exit of an outgoing administration.  So, I actually don't think this was any type of deliberate jab at President Elect Obama.  His needing to arrive two weeks early for the girls to start school is unusual as most President's haven't had the needs of school age children to consider.

How are things with you ?

I'm doing great.  Just waiting for little man to make his appearance!  One way or another, he'll be here no later than next Tuesday and we can't wait to meet him.

As for me.....I'm doing ok,  we just moved a few months ago and I am trying to get settled into my new surroundings so that  I can get back to doing what I must with my tool. Its never ending.   Thanks so much for asking......

Thank you!  I've been feeling so great that I guess it's been shining through.  I was worried alot in the beginning (re: vitamins, growth of the baby, etc), but I relaxed, prayed and trusted my team of 4 doctors.
