I'm cleared

I’ve heard from all the doctors Cardiology, Pulmonary, Upper G/I and Ultra Sound and am cleared by all for surgery. It makes me wonder if I went to the doctor and they found something wrong or if I was in an accident they would operate on me with no questions asked so why do we have to go through all this red tape for this surgery. My surgery is next week 1/14/2009.
