I have  not been on here in a long time but  its good to be back, I am about 1 year and 4 months out and I lost about 80 pounds at the start  and my doctor told me  last may that I was just about finished loosing  becuse I didnt have that much body fat to begin with , I started  at 305,  so it seems that after that I hit a plateau  and  the weightloss stopped,  over the past few months I developed a pain  in my lower area and they checked me for a hernia  but   that was not the case but it preventd me from working out, lately I dont feel  any restriction anymore I  get hungry  during the day and i have gained about 12 pounds  since the summer, there is no way I can go back to were i started, I had diabetes and high blood pressure  before but now its gone , can anyone tell me how I can get back on track, does anyone else feel like they have lost their tightness  I have not dumped in 2 months !! please any help would be great.

Chocolate:

Think about your diet.  Are you drinking at least 64oz of water a day?  Are you taking all of your vitamins?  Are you getting your required protein?  Are you eating fatty foods instead of lean b/b/b(baked, broiled or boiled)  protein?  Are you exercising like you used to or exercising at all?  Are you still eating small portions with protein first?

Juice, alcohol, soda and any sugary foods can all be a downfall....

You have to ask yourself those question and then you will have your answer.

In my opinion Beachbody has THE very best weight loss products around.  Would you like to join me on my P90X Journey? Please click the link below to Join My Team or to learn more about the products:

Big-Chocolate.....80 lbs...ok, I'm not a doctor, but your starting weight was 305 lbs. It just seems to me that you should have lost more or atleast 100lbs. I'm not trying to get you down, but there seem like something ain't right or maybe you pouch is able to consume more due to the doctor not taking your stomach down to atleast 3-4 oz.

Also, you seem to be relying on your pouch to do all the work.....you must work your tool the way it was intended to be worked...cut out certain foods and drinks! Only you know what you eating or doing for this weight gain. I would have my pouch checked if I were you, some have even had revisions due to there pouch failing them! Good luck  in your quest!

I am almost three years out. I can eat anything. The key is I don't . The tightness did go. I gain some wt. back. However I rededicated myself to yself and nw I am @ 197lb  from 322. U can do it to. Just start back exercising and monitor your intake. Your tool is still thier. I will work if you work it.

I know I'm new post op, but I track everything I put in my mouth on dailyplate.com. There's also fitday.com and sparkle.com. Carbs can be sneaky lil *******s. They could very well be sabatoging you. Try keepin a food journal or using one of these sites to track your eating.

Hi Big Chocolate!

I  fell off  the wagon too.  But I decided not to bash myself and get down on myself.  I started my comeback by excercising again at home.  I will take an afternoon walk  for lunch and I just finished taking my vitamins and I'm sipping my water.  What it boils down to Big is "Self Love" .  Love on yourself again.  I lost track of why it's important for me to take care of me! I'm making myself a priority again because I'M WORTH IT! And guess what?  SO ARE YOU!

First, congratulations on your current success.  Others have given you good advice, just want to jump in and let you know that I read your post and wishing you the best.  You can do it, just remember why you started this journey.  Oh, welcome back!

When you devote yourself to achieving your goal, you will not be bothered by shallow criticism.

No advice to give, but I wanted to say HI!

Well just a little advice:

Post more often and come to the board to give encouragement, and to get support & advice.  There may be someone else that's experiencing the same thing right now -- there's strength in numbers.

Peace and Blessings

Karen
