I didn't have lap band - BUT I drink a protein shake EVERY morning and have since my surgery. Don't know how much you know about protein shakes but there are two types: Powder and RTD (ready to drink). These taste different, so you will first want to know which you prefer. for me - NEVER could do a powder - I am RTD for REAL!!!!
That said - my top picks for RTD shakes are:
Labrada Lean Body - great tasting 42g per - however, REALLY pricey. I have followed this brand for years and the company is trippin off marketing these things - so the prices have gotten outta hand. Very tasty tho
Oh Yeah! (that's not my exclamation, that's the brand name lol) - I switched to these about three months ago and am HOOKED. Less pricey than Labrada, 32g per - these jokers have become my new staple. This company also makes some wicked killer protein bars.

Welcome to BAF. For me...I have never been able to find any protein drinks (powder or ready to drink) that I like so I have no suggestions. Congratulations on your surgery date.
