That avie is fly and I need details on the hair. My daughter wants braids and I don't know what to buy or even know how to explain to anyone what she wants. Sooooo, what do I buy and what do I tell the person braiding her hair? Also, would I be able to get something like this for me? My hair is a lot thinner but still has it's length. Oh and how long did it take?  Your hair looks great and I know that is what my daughter needs since she decided to get it cut and the growing out phase is not cute !!!

OK, now this is where i'm confused,  Women cut their hair and then get weaves or extensions.  Why cut it.  I don't get it.

I keep my hair braided during the cold months. I usually get it braided in October and will keep it in braids until my birthday in April. Then I chop it all off and keep it short during the warm months. I have been doing this now for the past five years or so.
I'm a little late this year, I just got my hair braided yesterday. I have been wearing my wigs and ponytails since October.

Now I know why cut and weave and what a fill is.   I have learned a lot of stuff today.   LOL.

My braids are what's called freestyle braids.  the size is typically called by price - mine are 180s - they are the next step bigger than true microbraids.

The hair I use is Outre' Batik.  It's synthetic braid hair - check out www.hairsisters.com to see the different styles and colors available.  I don't order it off this site - a beauty supply in my hood stocks it.  It's only $9.99 a pack, today they used 2 backs of the deep wave, but last time I had Romance Curl and it took three packs to do it. 

I was in at 10:30 this morning and out at 3:30!  that's 2 chicks and a VERY large head!!! hahahha - plus my hair is short, so not a lot to braid.......
