From Minnesota I'm new to you
Hi every one I've been on OH for a while but did not know this board was here . so hear I am checking it out made a few post I work the night shift so I tend to read the boards more then I post but I do post now and then. A quick run down I started my journey back in July of 07 at 315 pounds BMI 52 had a Lap Band done 2/05/08 surgery went very well . Got a perfect Band . With the placement of my band I lost my hunger and I got restriction just from placement and as of right now I have not had to have a fill........... (how cool is that!!!) In July of 08 I was down 100 pounds and in Nov 08 I was down 118 pounds and under 200 pounds for the first time in my adult life with a BMI of 33.2 and 64% of my excess weight gone. (I was over 200 pounds in high school 34 plus years ago WOW) as of today I'm 196 pounds my goal from pre-op that the Doctor and I set was175 which I thought I'd never see,but know thanks to my band it just around the corner and my new goal once there is 154 pounds which would give me a normal BMI. Now that I have a great tool to help me I know I'll get there. So thats my skinny and I'm sticking with it. LOL. looking forward to getting to know folks Have a great day Be safe and GOD Bless FYI I'm not to great at typing or the computer so if you see a major screww up smile thats just me I get by but some times I can really mess up.and I don't have a digital camera so no picture such is life. But if ever in or from MN. I can show you some great one's ...
