Exposed....Dont Really Care Who Knows!!!!
OK, so its been a week today that I have not had a drink. This must have been the toughest week of my life. Addictions aren't something to play with. It can destroy your entire life.
I don't know how many people know, but I suffer with clinical depression. I take medication daily for this disease. The medication works to a certain point. But it doesn't completely keep me from being depressed. Now, when I was drinking, the part that the medication didn't take care of, the alcohol did. I think that is why I got addicted to the booze so quickly.
My student died in July and I began to drink to numb the pain. Well, all it did was postpone the pain. Today, I am feeling great and I pray that it will get better as the days go by. But I thank God for allowing me to see that alcohol was not the way, the truth and the light...HE IS.......
