He ate a pancake today!!!!!
Since surgery, Thurman has had to eat things puree or softer, he been living off ensure and protein shakes that I been mixing up, in hope that he would not lose too much weight since his TMJ surgery.
When he got up today, he said he wanted a chilli dog, that he thought about sneaking out last night and going getting him one. but he knew I would give him a beat down. Against my better judgment, I went out and got the fixing for a chili dog, just happy that he was gong to eat something solid.
One bite proved that, that was a very bad idea., he took a pain pill and went to sleep frustrated. When he woke up, I said that I was going to make me a pancake, he said baby that sound so good, can I try one. I went and made him a big pancake, loaded it down with butter and sugar free syrup just like I like it because I thought he was thinking with his eyes, but his mouth was not ready to chew food so I would end up eating the pancake. I soon knew that I would need to make my own...for the first time since surgery, HE CHEWED FOOD AND HE ATE THAT ENTIRE PANCAKE AND SAID...I will be ready for another one when I wake up from my nap. Yeaaaaaaaaaaa, today is a great day!!

When I saw the title of this, I smiled. I am glad homie is doing better!!!! Tell him that chili dog ain't too far away!!!!! Load that bad boy UP when he gets it!!!!

You just dont know, I was grinning like he was eating a steak, he was so happy, he wanted another one but his stomach is not used to that much food, he is over there sleeping so peaceful now, Heck, I been eating puree with him, so I was happy as heck that we moved to solid food and was like why the heck did he ask for a hotdog for the first meal (babylapband dont like hotdog, she will bring it back up everytime) . Soon as he get well. I am cooking our Christmas meal and try to hurt myself.
