So I was looking around online to see if I could find some sort of liquid vitamins. I saw this site http://liquidbariatricvitamins.com/liquidbariatricvitamins/index.html and I guess it's produced by a man on OH. I'm a bit skeptical since the website isnt't that well constructed and is basic at best. But anyway, has anyone tried these or know anyone who has?

Bariatric Advantage is a well known site.  One of my girlfriends ordered her vitamins from the site.

She passed on some chewable vitamins to me that I did not care for.....BUT I believe they have samples.

I looked at BA and I feel that they charge a bit more because they have a specific audience. Also, I found those same vits at GNC, and I wouldn't have to pay shipping and it's buy one, get one half off! I love a bargain!

How have you been since surgery? I hope you're feeling better!

Options are always good.  It's sounds like you know where to go.  I agree about the shipping!

I am doing good, feeling much better!!!!  I hope you are as well.

I have no clue about those vitamins, however there are two different ones sold at Whole Foods.  If you want to try those, you know they are from a reputable source, good luck.

Vitamin Shoppe has most supplements in the liquid form.  Not too tasty due to the ingredients which make up a multi.  Bariatric Advantage is really good. I started with them soon after my surgery because I hated all of the chopping of the calcium horse pills. They have chewable and highly absorbed iron which I currently use and I've used their calcium citrate capsules because the capsules  desolves quickly soon after it hits the back  of your throat eliminating the need to chop. Never checked into their multi because I was using a chewable adult one from vitamin shoppe that I liked.

Centrum makes a liquid multivitamin; however, my nutritionis/surgeon said to not use it b/c it doesnt have iron.  They told me liquid vitamins period dont have iron, so if you find one with iron, let me know. Dr. DLC tells all his patients to use flinstones b/c its cheap and has what you need. He then says if you want to go and spend more, its on you, but its all the same stuff. i like the flinstones. Been taking since september and all my bloodwork and stuff is fine, and they taste good. My only form of candy a day i guess. ONly thing i did order on vitacost.com was the tropical oasis calcium citrate liquid. It tastes great. the b12, i got from walmart. sublinqual form, $4, i take 3 days a week b/c they are 2500mcg. those also taste wonderful. Now i have tried the vitamins from bariatric advantage and they are huge, expensive, and nasty. My nutritionist I guess is the damn national spokesperson for them, but i tried all their orange, cheryry, mocha flavors and they are all nasty. Flavored Charcoal.

Walmart is the place!  150 flinstones for $8.97, 60 sublingual b12 $4. Vitacost.com Tropical Oasis Calcium citrate $14 for 32 oz (you only need a tablespoon a day). Hey its cheap stuff and it works!
