I agree on the pride thing but at some point the boys who call themselves are men need to step up and take accountability for themselves. The cycle will never end if men don't want to be men. They call themselves men when they are actually little boys refusing to grown up, still playing with toys and not raising their children they helped create to be men.
While responsibility can be taught early on...personal responsibility is just that personal. No one can make you--you have to want it.

Sorry, but both are equally horrible for different reasons. I can't really say that one is worse than the other. The actions of Madoff/Lay affected many innocent people. Folks who worked hard and expected to have retirement and now they have nothing. The gangs affect millions of people as well with their random violence and crime.
There is no protection from either, unless I put my money under my mattress, and wear a bullet proof vest when I leave the house, and pray the ********ers don't break in while I'm gone.
