How are YOU bringing in 2009?

I will be home with the family and then at midnight I will be serving sparking grape juice and b-day cake for my son and daughters, My son b-day is on New Year's Day and he will be 9 years old.

Well I am going to make my family some party tray and just relax.  I will cook chicken meatloaf with ground chicken, blackeyed peas, and cabbage for tomorrow. I am on soft food now so I can have some of the meatloaf made with ground chicken and cabbage my nut approved it. I have had so many blessings happen to me this year I will just say a pray thanking God I made it on through.  God Bless everyone and Happy New Year!!!!!!!!!!

I will be bringing in 2009 with my hubby!! Just the two of us, cleaning chitlins and cooking. We have a bottle of Hennessy to sip on and Champage to toast at midnight!! 

CHITLINS?????  You go CC I know what your house gonna smell like for new years.   I've heard if you put some potatoes in with them that will suck up the smell.  But **** what do I know bout cooking chitlins ~ never done it ~ only ate them twice in my life.

Of course I'm steppin out. Going to a cabaret in Lanham with hubby so we can two step into the New Year. He can drink both of our free champagne toasts lol.

I just knew you were steppin out!!!!  We were thinking about it but I just got home and the wind is howling, and power is out all up and down the area (hope you ain't on no pole today~your lil ass will get blown away).  It's gonna be 0 with the wind chill tonight and all my party stuff is a lil bit short.  We just decided to stay put tonight!!

LMAO nah I'm in the hous today. I am off today but have to work on Sat. I have to look through my closet and see what still looks good. But I will prob wear some dress and my tall boots. We were gonna go to Busboys and Poets with some other friends but Keesha twisted my arm into going to this cabaret with her. I couldn't resist, the tickets were only $25.
