How are YOU bringing in 2009?
I dont like to go out for New Years..I'm just funny like that. Nothing safer than home to me.
I plan to be home with my daughter and sweetie so I can give them each a on the cheek at midnight. Im gonna try my hand at a pot of black eyed peas ( never made them before ) collards and some baked chicken.
My mom invited me to her church and I may pop my head in for a bit just to appease her. But
I'm hoping and praying for a better 2009 too. This year was a struggle for me financially, at this rate things have got to get better.
Hey Madam
Hey there Purtty Lady!!
I don't like to be out on New Years Eve either. Where ever I am is usually where I stay. To many drinkers out on the roads. Good Luck with those Peas. You'll do just fine. Season them up and cook em slow. MMMMMMMM with some rice that's some good eating!!
2009 will be MUCH Better - I just know it will!!!

My New Year's Eve will be spent sipping sparkling cider with my daughter, calling my baby at midnight and watching "The Honeymooners" marathon.
"When Alexander saw the breadth of his domain, he wept for there were no more worlds to conquer." Plutach. Not true, for there are always more worlds to conquer.

Hey Sharon! Happy New Year, love!
Well, my rich uncle hosts a New Year's Eve soiree at his beautiful home and I'm invited to that event; however, I am just not feeling getting my hair, nails, feet done today (too much work!)...so, in my usual form, I am bringing in 2009 in worship at my church.
I want to pray in the New Year, as I have so many things to be thankful for - even those things that were negative in my life this year. I wait, in tip-toe anticipation for God's Works in the New Year!

I choose to love myself, live life to the fullest, and encourage others to liberate themselves!
Hey SIS!!! (((((((DONNA))))))))
I hear ya about all the extra work. I needs my fingers and toes done in a major way ~ just don't feel like it. Maybe Friday. I'm sure Trinity is gonna bring it in in a major way.
What you say 'bout that "Tip-Toe Anticipation"???? Whew that's a whole mouth full all by it self ~ I so understand. Even the negative has a purpose ~ you survived it all and are stronger, wiser, freer and just as beautiful as ever.
Love YOU just for being YOU!!!!!
