I have gotten a lot of suggestions and i'm going to look into them all and then see which ones I will try. Thanks for the advice.

one more suggestion....a more natural approach. tea tree oil. my son lost his hair and my aunt who is in to natural healing and remedies brought me some. i was skeptical at first, but when i got desperate (cause he was looking like a one year old sherman hemsley!) i started massaging it into his scalp after his bath. his hair grew back thick and full within a month.
