Well, 1st of all...Your.  Ass.  Is.  CRAZY! 

2nd, my advice to you would be to review your policy and know exactly what approval calls for.  I can tell you 1st hand that sometimes the office staff gets things twisted and will tell you something that does not apply to your situation or policy.  I was told several things that were clearly being pulled out of the teller's ass (see blog )and I also had a bit of a roadblock myself this time 1 year ago, but everything worked out just fine for me just as it will for you.
