I am about a month post surgery and would like some advice about scars. My surgery was done laproscopically (sp?). The doctor used surgery glue instead of sutures. While some of the cuts look okay, others are beginning to darken and a couple have areas that are not flat (but not exactly keloid in appearance).
What have you used to lessen the appearance of your surgery scars? How well does the product work?

Funny you ask this today because all of my scars are keloid and I am 2 years out and my scars still hurt sometimes. I am going to ask the dr. about this. I didnt use anything on them either.

Ro - girl WHY when I did my revision consult with my plastic surgeon and he said an anchor cut TT would give me a scar down my tummy and that wouldn't be sexy - I was like..... 'with the mofos I HANG with - that shiot could up my street cred!!!!'

You KNOW that is one of the MANY of reasons I am glad I didn't get an anchor cut, heck I had a 87' cut from a gallbladder surgery, then my RNY cut 2002, and 2005 cut from my Small Bowel Obstruction...... After my Extended TT I have no more scars

ONLY the TT scar that is at my bikin line.....

You guys are funny! Seriously, though I may get bold enough one day to wear a bikni, or at least dream about it. At the end of the day, (I hate when people use that phrase) it really doesn't matter. I'd just like to minimize their appearance.
