I'll eat a spoon full of black eyed peas for luck, and a mess of greens for money. (I didnt have none last year, 2 weeks out of surgery)

Man, I dont do Chitterlings, as a matter of fact about 4 years ago Me and My Wife had a big argument cause my mother-n-law, (I love this woman to death) was cookin chitterlings in my house on new years eve.  AWE LAWD Help me, I couldnt even breathe in my own house.

They started spraying all kinds of air freshener, and burning candles - talking about see, its better, you cant smell it  - all it did was smell like flowers, peaches, and shizznit!

Me and my wife's 90+ year old grand dad went over to their cousins house and spent the night Chittlering free.  Once you start cooking em, aint no turning back cause the house is already funkky!

All, I can say is that me and spent most of that new years day on the porche next to the cooler - He had Dr. Pepper and I had my brew, and by the time the food was ready, I could hardly smell them chitterlings.

Hey RoRo!!!!
HAPPY NEW YEAR Beautiful!!!!!!

OK - I've gotta have my greens and my Hoppin Jon - I make mine with smoked turkey no hog in there for me.
Now my ribs...they are pork ribs all the way, they gotta be drippin in sauce and falling off the bone.

The house must be clean, no dirty clothes or dirty dishes and some moeny in my pocket
(this year I'm lucky we get paid tomorrow)

I also believe the way you begin your year is how it will end so I am always very careful "who" I start the year with.  Mostly just hubby and a few very close friends.
