First post to BAF - Surgery scheduled 1/15/09

Hi BAF,

This is my first post to BAF and I'm so glad to know that a site dedicated to US exists.  Thank you Raven for the great advice and pointing me to this site.

I'm excited, nervous, anxious, and prayerful of my upcoming RNY.  I've read so many encouraging blogs and look forward to my journey. If this is not a Christian forum it is really close to one as I have read many prayers, praises, and thanksgivings to our Heavenly Father.   Looking forward to 2009 and the new me on the other side.

Thank you! And yes Raven as in Virtly.  I've read about the pain.  That sounds so scary but I'm trying to keep my eyes on the prize and not let that deter me.
