One more thing...
My son and his wife, Tasha THOUGHT they were getting married on Valentine's Day this year...the problem was, I was in New Orleans attending a conference that week...they called me - TWO DAYS BEFORE - to tell me "we'z getting murried!!" I was like, uh, hell no you ain't...not without ME there (my flight didn't get in until that night)
Needless to say, their anniversary is February 16...they loved me enough to wait til I returned home (and besides, their asses KNEW BETTER!).

As for my wedding date...no special significance...Oct 30. I didn't want to do it in the summer because that is when EVERYONE does it...wedding hell...trying to book the church, reception, photogs, etc. Fall is more mild and less hectic wedding wise...I didn't want to be sweating!!! It IS 10 days after my b-day...so I get lots of gifts. LOL
