ONLY 1 FILL
Hello my BAF family. I have not posted in a while due to having problems with my Laptop having all kinds of virus (thanks to my 15yr old son looking at porn sites without me knowing) So now i got a new one for Christmas & yes he is banded from using it that includes doing homework (damn teenager. Anyways let me update you guys on my progress. Well i was banded on August 5 of this year and to date i have lost around 28lbs. I have had only one fill & is due for another one. My surgeon would not give me a fill when i went for my 6 week check-up after surgery cause i was doing so well. Okay then when it was time for me to get another fill, she was out of town on some convention for 3 weeks so when she did come back she gave me a small fill. Okay so now i was due for another fill on 12/24 but i got a phone call from the surgeon office saying that my surgeon was on sick leave & they will have to cancel my appointment until 1/8/09 which another surgeon will be giving me the fill. WTFI see now there is going to be some problems! Even though i am still sticking with the rules, i have not lost any weight or gained! Somebody please help before i go crazzzzzzy!
steady as she goes sexy.. i had lap band in june of 07 and i just hit my sweet spot a few months ago.. i've lost about 45 to fifty pounds so far with another 20 to go..so i'm still not seeing any rapid weight loss but i am losing the extra inches, i can feel it in clothes.. it's going to take trial and error before you hit that sweet spot and trust you will know when he hits it..i just had an unfill because i was too tight and it was causing me serious discomfort..Jan 1 i'ma work this tool like a barnyard mule! good luck!
Oh thank you so much for your response. So how many fills have you had so far in all?? Im the same way about the inches, the scale just aint saying nothing. Well rakin i will work my tool the same way until i get my next fill, but now i am working out real hard just to get where i am at now. I mean don't get me wrong i enjoy exercising but 2 hours 1/2 at the gym 5 days a week is rough. I guess i am just wanting the scale to move to really show me im doing something. Well ima just be grateful for the weight i have lost & still stay in the game. Again, thanks
go easy with the gym a little.. you can burn yourself out at the rate if you haven't been doing it for years..you just want to jumpstart your metabolism to start burning those calories.. i have been blessed to have a group of friends who have all had the lapband surgery before me and the results are amazing but it took a good year or so for it to kick in.. Your body is fighting what your mind is telling it to do so be patient..First the inches then the weight..in the meantime.. practice those eating habits cause i still eat like a runaway slave..caus if you don't i gurantee that when your Dr hits that sweet spot you will be sorry! i would wish you luck but luck ain't got a damn thing to do with this..just do it girl
