Tough break about your dating experience(s) on the internet.  I agree with the others on this thread who've said that you shouldn't look for the ONE on these dates.  Just party like a Rock Star and have fun.  When the time is right the right one will appear. 

Sorry for your experience.  But it's not just internet dating where people seem to have these expectations these days.  You can meet them anywhere and they seem to think it's norm.  I had this guy tell me that he lost interest in his last woman because she gave him some too soon.  Then he turned his azz around and tried to get some from me after one date...WTF.  And I met his azz on the streets..lol.  Of course, nothing happened and unfortunately, I see him frequently and he won't give up.  Even after I told him ain't nothin up and ain't nothin eva gonna be up. 

So, just enjoy yourself and don't worry about meeting the ONE.  Don't discount internet dating because it's just dating.  Be safe about it though, don't tell anyone where you live (internet or not).  That is one update to you dating game I will offer.  These days it's just better to meet somewhere for at least the first 3 or 4 dates (jmo).  And then, that does not mean they can come to your house, that just means you can let them know what side of town you live on..lol.  I wish you the best!

First of all unlike a lot of other folk, I am NOT going to say I am sorry for your experiences.  Experiences are had to learn from and from what I am hearing you are learning that the game ain't changed; it just went higher tech!  There will always be someone out there to catch if you are throwin it, that is as old as time and both women and men.

First of all, I say to you if you are living in a mega plex...somwhere with upwards a million people in what they consider drivable space; how else are you going to meet folk who may or may not be like minded?  I mean logistically, the internet makes sense, we folk are simply tearing apart a good thing.

Secondly, have you always looked for the one or is this a new development now that we are smelling ourself? Yes, I said it, girl I went through this almost 7 years ago when the dogs (not necessarily an insult on men mind you) start sniffin sometimes we can't help but pick up the scent too. 

Go back to the basics, relationships and eating aren't all that different, lol.  Enjoy yourself and everything in moderation.  The game ain't changed; you just have on a new uniform.  Good luck.
