So in about 14 hours I will be heading to the hospital. Anxious? Yes. Freaking out? Just a little. I could really use some words of encouragement. And maybe some tales of what I can expect tommorrow. Thanks everyone

My prayers are with you for a speedy recovery.  It is normal to be anxious when going though a medical procedure just remember you are doing this for a healthy future.  There is a lot to learn before and after surgery so stay connected to OH to see you though your journey.  Stay connected with those who are going through and have gone through the WLS journey.  You are not alone the BAF family will support you.  Keep us posted.  Peace, Blessings & Prayers

You are gonna do fine!  Try not to be too nervous.

When I got to the hospital, I signed in and didn't have to wait to long.  They took me back, got my weight, blood pressure, etc.  I changed into a gown.  They started an IV, and then the surgeon and anesthesiologist asked me a bunch of question.  Then I had to wait around for about a 1/2 hour until it was time to go into surgery.  I was awake when they wheeled me in.  Had to climb on the table and then it was lights out.  Next thing I remember was waking up in recovery.  I do remember being in some pain right after I woke up, but they were right there with some pain relief.  I slept off and on the rest of that day.  Every day after that I got better and better.  I was out in 4 days (Thurs to Sun).

Good luck!!!!
