Post-Ops...how "off" were you from your goal as a pre-op?
I read post from pre-ops and they have their goal weight and I thought back to this time last year at my 180-190 goal (didn'twant to get too thin) and now look at myself a year in the future and i sway between 175-179 and now want to really sway between 170-175. that's a 20 lb difference from my original goal and my current goal.
So, it started me to wonder did others go through that as well? Even going the opposite way of wanting to lose mroe but settled on a higher number?

When I was 386 - all I wanted to be was under 300. Then when I broke 300, all I wanted to be was under 250. then 200. Then under 180..... now I want 160.......
At a size 32 - I just wanted to be a 20. Then 16..... then 12...... then when I hit 8..... I was like 'I'M DONE!!!!!' Now that I have blown back up to a 10/12 - I am and terribly upset!!!! I gotta get back to the 8's!!!!!
So - I have adjusted my goals SEVERAL times as I lost and loved the newer, slimmer me. I am still tweaking those goals - can't promise that 160 is it. I keep thinking 150 at the back of my mind...... But - I am happy at size 8....... just want to be a COMFY not TIGHT 8 - and want to be able to grab ANY 8 off the rack.......

MM I'm sorry i confuses you...I its that dreaded flight for me tomorrow I guess lol. was talking about the ultimate place you wanted to be when you began this journey that magical number you were shooting for. have you surpassed that or not able to maintain it. You are smart because even being confused you answered perfectly

Good question. My current goal is what the "normal" BMI is for my height. But I honestly can't picture myself at 150. I have never even seen myself under 250 as an adult, so I have no idea. For now, I want to get to onderland and see what I look like. My size goal is probably an 8 or 10, whatever weight that is...

My goal is between 135 and 150. My goal for myself is 150. My surgeon says 135 or under. So I figure somewhere in between there. I hope to be atleast 150 or close to it by memorial day weekend. That's one of my mini goals for myself right now. The first is to get under 200lbs.
