Hey BAF,

As the new year approaches it is resolution time.  Everyone on this board at some time or another probably had a New Years resolution to loss weight.  I know I have had that resolution more than a few times and have always seem to fall of the wagon a few weeks into January.  Well this year it is back to the basics for me.  I am 7 months out I am still losing wieight and loving it.  But I am going back to th basics.  No more drinking with my meals.  Protien first.  Stop grazing between meals.  So exactly y am I posting this, because i am sure that there may others who want to go back to the basics to or who wouldn't mind supporting the ones of us who are.  So here is my invitation to you Fam.  Join me lets go back to the baisics in 2009.

^5 to you Roxy!!!!  Good plan!!!

As for me - I don't do weight related resolutions for the New Year.  Sorry - just don't.  I think it's a setup for failure because it's so 'commercialized'.  HOWEVER - I have made some alterations to my plan that I have started in the last week and will CONTINUE into the New Year - so I'll consider that a 'qualifier' for a resolution..... LOL!!!!

As for a resolution - I am going to give up a grudge.  I am the type to hold on to shiot and bad feelings for folk for a LONG time - I let it eat me up in some cases.  So - I am going to release one of those and free myself for 2009.

Keep up the good work, lady!  2009 will be a great year for you - your plan will make SURE you get to your goal!!!

I don't just have issues, I have subscriptions!  I'm saving on the newsstand price.......

Hey Roxy I'm with you too.  I've been slipping lately.  Allowing myself to eat just cause I'm stressed.  That's how I got in this predicament.  I've decided that starting January 1.  I'm going to refocus with the 5 day pouch test.  i've been slacking on the exercising as well.  Only been doing it like 3 times a week.  I've gotta get back to working out EVERYDAY.  Since I've been slacking, I've noticed a change in my energy levels.  So I'm in.  I say we check in with each other regularly to make sure we're on track.
I was once a mess!!  My mess is now my message!! WLS saves lives!!  I'm living proof!

Hi Roxy, I am definitely in. My surgery is the 13th of January and I can use the motivation and team work to stay on point especially with the exercising. Usually if I keep up with the exercising the eating healthy comes with it which gives me the weight loss I Thrive for. So I am wit cha.
