Hormones or testosterone?
I hadn't been on here in a while. Just to update you on my situation... I started my month of shakes on 1/28 and weighed 579lbs, and I had surgery 2/27. Just recently I crossed the 400lbs mark. Yay me! I've had no troubles since my surgery. My weight loss has been excellent (IMO)
I do seem to be having anger issues. Everything seems to have me flying off the handle. I didn't use to be this way. Has anyone ever had these issues. Is it hormones or testosterone? I don't understand why I'm like this and it's really getting frustrating.
Thoughts??? Ideas???

I've heard lot of people say as they lost the weight they seemed to be angry or moodier. Our fat cells are home to lots of our hormones. As you lose weight they rush our bodies. As your weight loss stabilizes as you get closer toyour goal you should notice a change.
Don't be afraid to speak to your Dr about a prescription for an antidepressant/mood stabilizer if only for a short time.
Good luck on your weight loss.

Now Michelle, you know you and me are mad cool...until... You go and have that "other" surgery. Once you do that we're through.
Keep hitting us up with the good advice from a medical stance and here's hoping that you'll eventually change your mind about my pending "adoption" and my post-adoption meal(s).
