How do I know when i've bought enough clothes?

I am at goal weight by everyone's standard (mine, surgeon, and NUT). Since I've hit that and been steady for 8 weeks or so I've begun to update my wardrobe.  Coming from a size 24/26 to a 10 my closet and dresser was emptied over the past 8 months and as you all know I've had to replace everything. My closet is now at capacity with all size 10's and i JUST bought another $1,00.00 worth of clothes this week (I spent about 300.00 but regular price I would have spent close to 1k) I just can't stop buying things! I don't shop when I'm angry, sad, or happy (transference of addiction) and I don't spend more than I bring in or my bill money.   Previously I shopped  exclusivley at Lane bryant and you know how expensive the clothes are there so now finding shirts and pants on a daily basis for 5,10, or 20 bucks is blowing my mind. 

Since the weight has come off I am more confident and want to be seen the best i can be. so is this a phase or something I should be concerned about?

It's your pocket, only you know what you can afford to be spending. Hopefully you will keep off that weight so that you're not stuck starring at clothes that no longer fit.

Youre right MzD. My pockets are not hurting at all right now but my closet is bulging at the seams lol.
 Im actually in a size 8 now which is why I bought the 10's to give wiggle room if need be. My Nut says that if I continue doing what I'm doing I may lose another 5-10 lbs or another dress size if I can tone up some more excess skin but I don't see me gaining anything unless like any of us I stop doing what I'm doing and making bad choices then the weight will begin to creep back up.

Uhhh.  I am gonna sit back and read the replies because I am 2 1/2 years out and STILL have this problem....LMAO!

I've always been a shopper and I think im spending the same amount of money but Im getting a lot more bang for my buck in the smaller size. My husband hasnt complained yet(he may do so after I come home and see I left with 1 small suitcase and coming back with 2)

Girl that is why I said she knows what's in her pocket so she knows if she can afford to sho*****t.  I'm twice as far out as you and I'm always buying something. Heck the other day just speaking to Ms. Praise sent me running to Macys...I was like twist my arm...lol!

Listen....I have been shopping on-line ALL DAY!  One website sent me an email that they were trying to move their inventory and reduced some items to $5!!!  I was on it!!  What's worse is I went back AFTER I placed my order to make sure I didn't miss anything...LOL!!! 

I need an intervention in the WORSE way!

I'm right there with you. I've been shopping and watching tv all month. Picked up some nice things today. It's been so bad that I don't know what I'm expecting half the time. Packages showing up at home and work.

Chile - Ionknow the answer.........   I got stuff in my closet that I bought less than 3 months ago that I haven't worn cause I just ain't got around to it yet!  LOL - and let me walk into a Ross or NY and CO right now..... I'll buy SOMETHING!!!!!

Just try to be mindful of your $$ - but if you got it.... SPEND IT!!!!!  LOL - I have a shoe thing going on right now - I used to wear 11W and 12.... now I can wear a straight 10.  I have bought no less than 20 pairs of shoes in the last 2 years...... hell - got a pair of white boots two weeks ago.... I WISH it would just get cold enough to break them bad boys out..... LOL!!!!

Yeah MM and you helping to create this shopping monster with them dayum NY&Co coupons!!!! LOL.  I feel ya on the shoes too i was 11.5 W and now a size 10. Everytime I can fit a dayum shoe I think i should have them in my closet.

I've never shopped cheap and coming from "finding something that fits and buy it" to being able to choose what looks good on me everything that looks good i want to buy. I just hate to see my bank statement this spring when i start buying summer clothes
