Eat what I eat
Hi everyone I am so glad I found this site and now it is even better that i am able to talk to people who once ate the foods i use to and still to like to eat. I am a 41 year young mother of two and am looking for some more friends of my race to talk to about the issues that i have with the post op lap-band surgery. l had my surgery 7/3/07 with a start weight of 315 lbs wearing a top size of 24-26. Now i clock in at 230 lbs wearing a 14-16 and i need some cheering on to make my next goal of hopefully being in a 12 by April 2009. It's getting tougher now and sometimes i just want to cry. My husband does not understand and thinks it's ridiculous.
Hey lady!!!! I didn't have lap band, I just wanted to say hi and that I understand your pain! I was a size 32 when I started out - and struggled like hell to drop my last 50........ my SO has never been overweight in his life and has no CLUE why I am so obsessed.... he thinks I am just fine.... WHATEVER!!!!!!!
I can only tell you to make a plan and work a plan - one thing I have noticed on this board over the years is that those who succeed have a plan of food, vitamins and exercise that they stick to and 'set points' - times when they KNOW they have strayed too far off the path and they recommit to getting back on track.
Don't be a stranger!!! Good luck to you!!!
