Why...why...oh why do people do this!!!!!
Anyone that knows me, knows that I will participate if I want to. I buy presents for immediately family; I don't do the secret santa thing, and this year is the first year in many that I have sent out Christmas cards. In saying all of that I completely, honestly know how you feel.

I have been this way since 1985. I don't like the holidays at all. From Thanksgiving until January 2nd, just leave me alone. But I have gotten a bit better. Especially this year because my BFF helped me through this one. But, I don't do Xmas tree, lights or any type of decorations. The only thing I am happy about with Xmas this year is the fact that I am making seafood gumbo. Yummy.
They shouldn't try to shove it down your throat.
