BAF, I have fallen off the wagon already lol. I was consistently doing my treadmill since about 3 weeks since surgery. I kicked it up a notch and started the couch to 5K  plan. But now I haven't done it since last Friday with no interest in doing it again LMAO. I used to go to the gym faithfully  2 years ago and now can't seem to get pumped up enough.

How long does it take you consistently working out for it to become a habit?

Do you prefer the gym or home workouts?

I think I need a partner. I'm going to go over Keesha's house more often and workout with her till I get pumped up good. Maybe she'll keep me accountable. Do you do better with a partner or solo?

LAZY azz!!!!  Alright BLUBBER BUTT - lose the lbs and have no tone - I will RANK on you all DAY!!!!

whew!  enough of the tough love.... LOL!!!

I have had my moments over the last 3 years or so.  Never gone more than 3 weeks out of activity tho - but i have slacked off in the gym - only doing 2 sets when I know I need to pu**** to 3... pulling the 10s when I know I need to grab the 15s.

I prefer the gym to home - the sofa is TOO tempting at the house!  LOL  and I ALWAYS do solo.  I HATE people!!!!  The solitude of my MP3 and weights is where I get my 'who' in line.......

Can't say how long it takes to become a habit - to me, a habit is something you don't have to work at - i am STILL working at MAKING my azz hit the gym.  Case and point - TODAY!!!  Got to push myself to go instead of running home to plop my azz on the sofa cause I am off till Monday after I leave here........

I don't just have issues, I have subscriptions!  I'm saving on the newsstand price.......

Yes I am the SAME way. I still have to PUSH myself EVERYDAY and not a day has gone by where I don't have to talk myself to go. Which I hate!!

It wasn't until recently when I slowed down on the working out.

It was better for me to go to a gym b/c doing it home was too many excuses. (Walking around the complex)

I wish I had a partner to work ou**** my speed but a competitive partner that pushes me to compete w/ them (b/c i'm a comp head)

Hang in there Shani I know its hard but look at it like this Egypt wasn't built in a day. Take your time don't be so hard on your self and get up and get tommrow.

LETS GET IT!!

i have a complete gym at home so i don't have an excuse not to work out...but i do go thru short periods of just plain ole laziness..the only thing that seems to keep me motivated is the burn...the feeling the day after when yr whole body hurts...i'm inspired by that to do it all again..

I workout a little bit from time to time as you may know  lol.

I still don't enjoy it even though eveyone that knows me thinks i'm a wok-out-a-holic, but I don't really enjoy it very much at all.

I think the best way to motivate yourself to workout is to just start cause if you don't start you can sit around and wait forever for the motivation to kick in.

Working out sucks !!!

I am a newbie at working out.  I have been going 3-4 times per week since 12/02.  I have been going at it solo.  However, I have met a couple of ladies at the gym and we are going to attempt to schedule our workout times together.  I like the gym now because I have a personal trainer and he is killing mebut I need someone to push me beyond what I think that I am capable. of.

I made working out a part of my daily routine, I picked a time that that was easy for me to do, which is first thing in the morning. I tend to do better working out alone and not with a partner -- since people are not reliable, the only thing that motivated me was my IPOD I loaded it up with all my favorite songs and hit the treadmill.
