I'm not a fan of MAC, I'm a Fashion Fair fan myself. However, I've never tried Bobby Brown. I'll have to check it out some time.

I didn't like Bobbi Brown foundation.  It always looks a little ashy on black skin.  I love the MAC foundation colors but they were too heavy for my sensitive skin.  I can still use the MAC eyeshadow but I leave the foundation alone.

hey!  you are about my color!  Hmm - ashy huh?  Now the MAC foundation has been great for me - I am worried about the Bobbi matching my tone tho - i am light and almost white but with just enough tan to make it hard to match....

I don't just have issues, I have subscriptions!  I'm saving on the newsstand price.......

I  am a Certified MAC ADDICT!!  Never tried Bobbi.  I've walked up to the MAC counter  or store and got mad Service.  I mean they beat my face and hooked me up and I was in LOVE.  I have perused the Bobbi counter and never got that kind of attention or service.

MAC is pricey - **** it's a dammmmed good investment.   I have a Huge MAC case.  I have a regular girl who knows what I like and will hook a sistah up full face during lunch and sell me all the newest products.   Damn  I'm scratching now - I'm due for a MAC fix.  My daughter always gives me a $100 Black MAC card for Christmas.  She knows I never walk away spending anything less.  It's my guilty pleasure.

I don't wear make-up but I was bored and felt left out of the conversation....so I had to do something.

How about the beauty supply store...CVS...Walgreens. I am a drugstore junkie. I do have some sephora but I still mix it with my posner.  I like the mineral wear line by Maybelline too.

I know the colors that work best for me. As long as I stick with that, I make out ok. I admit I have been genetically and divinely blessed with good skin. There are some things I will not use...like Wet and Wild or Cornsilk. .  I have to have some limits.

lol I understand about the limits .

I love drugstore products. My favorite is Queen Latifah's "Queen collection". Her products are great and inexspensive & the colors really match all the different  shades we women of color have.
Othergreat drugstore brands are Black Radiance, Black Opal and L'Oreal Hip

Don'cho asse know better to state your profession....cause now Dedee got questions ROFLMAO

See, see, I stopped using expensive products ~yes, I was a SEVERE CLINIQUE girl~ I love waterbased foundation.....my skin is not bad.....I can really get away with any kind of makeup....Last night, I found L'oreal on sale....never used it before.

But for 8 dollars for both the foundation and bronzer ~I don't even know how to use bronzer~ I was like OH HELL YEAH

~I'm so glad you said L'Oreal, but I did not get the hip~

I have the L'Oreal true match and bronze glow bronzer......

So, can you tell me how to wear the bronzer ~I know, bad Dedee~

I focus not on my disabilty; my focus is on my ABILITIES.

LOL,  I thought of that after I hit submit but I love sharing so keep the questions coming.

Bronzer is used to warm up the skin. It should be applied to areas of the face that the sun would naturally hit like the forehead, temples (if you wear your hair up), top of cheeks (think highlight area),  bridge of nose and chin.

To apply it ,use a powder brush with a very light hand and dust the bronzer in those areas and the reults should be a warm glowy look.  If it is not the level of warth you would like add more bronzer.

Always remember start off light and build the color up because it is easier to apply more than it is to take some off

I hope this helps
