OT: Ladies!!! MAC vs. Bobbi Brown

Mac can't be beat for the eye pigments--there line is more extensive than anyone.

As for complexion, although we are close  I can't say because I don't wear foundation but once every blue moon and it's some mineral brand.

Did you just make a light skinned-ed-did joke?  LOL!!!  See - you WRONG for that!!!!

You lucky to have clear skin - I had acne as a teen so I have to wear foundation to smooth out my tone these days. 

When someone almost glows in the dark like me it's past light skinned honey.  Sorry.

My skin has always been dry and sensitive--foundation makes me itch usually and I'm lazy on top of it.

Being a licensed makeup artist I find that hands down MAC has the best eye products (shadows, bases, pigments, etc)other than actually theartical brands like Ben Nye, Makeup Forever or Kryolan. MAC also makes very good face products that are affordable for consumers.

Bobbi Brown on the other hands makes great foundations, concealers, bronzers because she focuses on barely there makeup. She is all about the natural look. But her prices are not always the best.

So it really depends on what your looking for in a product. Because both can serve the same purpose  it's just who you want to spend the money on.

Also if you ever wanted to try find some Bobbi Brown or MAC products out and you want to get it at a discounted price. Check in your area for a C****osmetic Counter Outlet) Mac, Bobbi Brown and Clinque are all Este Lauder companies so these outlet stores (which can be found in most outlet malls) will have stuff at a 20-25% discount.

I am more a Bobbi girl - based on your statements.  I want the 'barely there' look - never did do bold colors and such.  So - is the coverage with Brown as good as with MAC?

Yes, very good coverage.

Just a quick question
What's ur skin type? Normal, Combo or Oily

Combo - leaning toward oily.  Using MAC I have to do the powder touchup at least once a day.  I use proactiv as my cleaning regime tho.
