we are told to research before, during, and after wls. This post puts into perspective WHY we need to do this, it could save your life years after wls. I hope that this person made it.

what's so crazy is that everyone is telling here the SAME THANG (other than those who hadn't a clue)and this lady kept going against the grain. She can seriously be dead by now because she was adamant on waiting until 4 o clock to see her Dr. The bowels can also twist and not be traditionally blocked so it may now show up as a blockage, only an experienced Dr. can make that determination when all else fails. I would DEMAND that they open me up.
side note from my other post her name was cluadette....with her crazy self and this other chick named shayon s.
Be more concerned with your character than your reputation, because your character is what you really are, while your reputation is merely who others think you are!
I did THOROUGH research on WLS before, during and after and had NO IDEA what I was experiencing 3 years ago this month was a "Bowel Obstruction"...... The thing is I was 3 years out from my Rny and would have pain on and off for years and figured it was just a "WLS" phase... I had no problem with my bowel movement and had no idea I was experiencing a bowel obstruction until I was in the emergency room... I was in pain for three days straight and all of the sudden couldn't "use it" no more the ONLY reason I went to the emergency room was the pain so excruciating and my belly literally start increasing in size, I just THOUGHT it was a gas bubble... After my then BF (now hubby) took me to the emergency room my problem was diagnose after having a CT scan that I was had a Small Bowel Obstruction.. The emergency room doctor told him that if I would have waited just one day I would no longer be here.... Thankfully after being in the hospital for 7 days (with the NG TUBE going down my nose for 3 days) and getting cup back open AGAIN, I am okay...
Please note ANYTIME you have any surgery on your abdominal you are prone to having a Small Bowel Obstruction EVEN something as simple as a c-section......
I forgot that you had the obstruction, I remember when you came home and posted about it. What got me about the current poster is the fact that they were continuously telling her what the problem is and she keeps going against the grain with what they are saying when it is truly a matter of life and death. I hope that she went back.
Yup my aunt had a hysterectomy and suffered a bowel obstruction 6 months later
