i will most def keep you all updated wit the surgery....i forgot to add though because its a clinical trial..only 2 out of every 3 people actually get surgery so my surgeon wont let me know if i got the actual surgery until a yr later...they actually put you to sleep and put the thing down your throat even if you dont get the surgery (the actual stapling of the stomach) but im sure i will know if im not losing weight or not feeling full or what not...but i still have to follow the program as if i got the surgery and then if she reveals i didnt get it i can get the procedure for free.

Welcome and yes that is how it works....one I first relocated to Ohio I worked on a new lapband procedure....it was approved through FDA....now I work with a MAJOR global CRO and the patients do not know if they are receiving the trial meds or a placebo. Very interesting indeed!
