Hi Dedee,
I plan on doing the liquid Monday with y'all. I have had 2 babies back to back and have 35lbs that I need to lose ASAP. Trying yet again to be accountable!
I gotta question for you when you eat the crushed ice w/lemon juice do you add any sweetner with it?? And, do you put lemon juice in your water?
Tomorrow, I will have
Decaf coffee w/EAS chocolate protein
chicken broth w/ Unjury unflavored protein
cystal light w/Unjury unflavored protein
warm milk w/Muscle Milk vanilla protein
SF popsicles
chicken broth w/Unjury unflavored protein
And, my goal for tomorrow 100 ozs. of water!! (lawd, help me)
Be Blessed,
Sharonne
I do add lemon slices to my water often and when out to eat, I have water with extra lemon and then add Splenda ~so good~

This stuff is usually for people that are a ways out and trying to get a kick start.
Thanks so much for your concern. I am not doing it to just start any thingnor am I going to make it a habit. I am sure one day will not hurt. Hell i didn't even get eat or drink anything till i was 2.5 weeks out because of complications. I think one day of liquids will be ok. But again thanks for your concern.
In fact, MOST surgeons (my surgeon did not) require a week of clear liquids after surgery and then move on to phase 2 liquids....then to pureed foods, then solids....so this is actually GREAT for any of us.
My only advice for ANYONE joining in is to take a slow K or potassium vitamin.....or have a banana in your smoothie to keep the potassium level from depleting. Also, if you feel lightheaded EAT something solid.
I focus not on my disabilty; my focus is on my ABILITIES.

Yes, I'm doing the dayum liquid Monday.... (I need to recover from what I ate over the weekend... really I do!) So yes I'm in.... protein and water all day.... now that I've had my little tantrum, I'm going to exercise a little maturity and say, "Thank you for this post and the accountability." ~smh~
