New to BAF and gots a question
Biotin I started taking 1k mg about 2 months before surgery and HOLY **** did it make a diff, not only with hair but my nails are long and hard as a rock. I got back on it about a month after surgery and upped it to 3k since having the DS and the malasorbion stuff (I think you're gettin' the DS too right?)
I am not sure if it is the Biotin or not but I've gotten more length in the past few months then I have in years..

it was shoulder LENGTH, not thick but shoulder length. My GB was upset when she seen how short it was.
I'm back just braiding it and having it just pin to my head in different style trying to grow it back. Before i started again with the braiding it, it had starting getting thick again. I'd been started biotin shampoo,conditioner and the pill. It was explain that because I sweat so much in my head and drying and sweating again and not been able to shampoo the scalp it was just drying it out.
everyone thought I should have brought action against the beautician. Hey High blood pressure,cholesterol, thyroid problem and hysteromy and no hormones pills. I would have looked like a fool, got a little better sense than that.BUT THE GOOD NEWS IS IT'S GROWING BACK LITTLE AT A TIME BUT IT GROWING.

Beth welcome to BAF -- I'm not sure about the hair question. I had my hair cut very short at the time of my surgery and it has grown out a lot since then. I have the lap band -- I'm sure I lost some hair, but it was nothing noticable. I take biotin, a multi-vitamin and omega oils.
Carol's Daughter's products are great and should help with the dryness.

Miss you lady!!You know we would love to be there, but I will be in school in Feb. and I will have a Saturday class also. I will not be able to do anything until April; I will be out of school then until the end of August.
