New to BAF and gots a question
Hi all,
I promise I went through 11 pages of archives before asking this!
I'm post op 7 weeks now with no major complaints.. Something I've been wondering about but to shy to ask, do we lose hair any differently then non-African Americans. Is there anything else we should be doing in addition to protien and particular supplements?
I use Carol's daughters products and I'm LOVIN' my hair (wear it natural, curly most days cept when the iron jumps in my hand) and and take about 3k Biotin daily along with my other vites. It's supa thick but I've noticed it's gotten WAY drier since surgery..
Advice/suggestions?
Beth

Before surgery I had a decent head of hair, down to my butt and after surgery I lost a ton of hair, If you look at this picture you can see how thin it is. I have to place hair to cover my bald spots and i'm almost 3 years out. I still have length but my hair is still very thin. I have whimpy hair but you look like your hair is pretty thick. Keep taking your biotin and getting in your protein.
