It's my surgiversary...
A year ago today......can't believe its been a year already, but then again I can. I lived every day this year...tried to enjoy every moment. My surgery brought with it a new type of self respect, it made me look at myself from the inside out. It helped me to believe in myself and love Dei.....
There was a lot of struggle this year...some losses and pain....but even with it all. It has still been the best year of my life.....because I started to see myself and learn who I was. Its a shame what a bunch of extra pounds can do to a person mentally, physically and emotionally. But it's a miracle what the shedding of those pounds can do.....
The journey is far from over and I'm still about 25 lbs away from my personal goal. But I'm still living and still happy about my decision....it was a good year. :o)
Where is my surgery twin at??? Wendy T. I know you are here somewhere....
Thanks BAF for the support and encouragement. If I knew how to do those side by side before and after I would post it right here....but I don't so....lol...somebody hit me on the bl and tell me!!

Girl I haven't lost that much more.....at least not in weight. I seem to look smaller but that damn scale sure ain't moving like I want it. I'm trying not to let the number consume me but.....it is, I remember when I first started I refused to even get on a scale if I wasn't at the drs. office....didn't want to be obsessed. Should've listened.....
