Mama's Godmother passed on today. She was originally from Dallas and my mother is from Oklahoma. When mama was 20 she lost her mother and once she married at 21 she moved all the way here with no family. The lady adopted mama and another neighbor who had just married and moved from Tennessee.
Anyway, today was her 99th birthday and we were shocked that her sudden death happened to be on her birthday. She got up this morning and was excited about it being her birthday because a cake and balloons had been ordered, she then suddenly told her caregiver that she didn't feel well and was tired. She then collapsed and died an hour later at the hospital. Mama is devastated to say the least. The day after Thanksgiving she was just telling me about how she NEVA thought that she would live to see us get a black President. She then asked me how in the world did the white people let that happen

.She insisted on going to spend last weekend with my sister and you should've seen how she was hightailing it back up in here last night...she said neva again

.Now that mamas fluid is gone, she has dropped to just above 200 lbs, can't tell her nothin
, she said that she hasn't been this small since highschool. I think that she will hit onederland soon.
