Married folk: Question

To answer my question.  I wear my ring all the time.  The only time I take it off is when I am washing or putting lotion on my hands.  Which is a habit I need to break because I have misplaced it several times because of this.

I haven't been clubbin since being married (I went 2x's afterwards, but he was there so that don't count)

I wear my ring at all times, unless I forget to.....occassionally..

However, there was this one time that I went to Red Lobster by myself and this guy was working there was fine azz hell.....so I took my ring off, but he saw my ring tan and asked me about it! I don't lie well at all so I put it back on while he was sitting there...

Bwaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaahahahahaha!  Girl NO!  You put it back on while he was sitting there???  Why can I see this in my head?!?!?!?

Hell yeah I put it back on in front of him.....before spottin' the tan line he was stuttering on helping a sistah get a free meal, so I'm like.. naw I kool though, plus my HUSBAND probably would be mad if you didn't pay for both of us!

I always wear my wedding ring.  And I always say that I am happily married even if I am mad as hellll at him at that momment. 

These days, being married seems to be attractive to other men.  Go figure.........
But my azz is faithful, old and boreing!  Lucky DH !

I think it goes both ways.  Hubby tells me he get**** on all the time and he wears his ring (at least that is what he tells me). 

The ring IS a single-chick magnet.  See my earlier post. lol

Well to answer your question...I have not been clubbing in years & I don't have the desire to go.  I am so happily married and don't need to go BUT.....if I did still go to clubs, I'd definitely wear my wedding ring.   Why? Because it is my commitment to my husband & without it I'd feel so empty inside.

True story..... a few weeks ago, I was rushing late in the morning and left the house without my ring.  I work about 30 to 45 minutes away from home & I was already on the interstate by the time I realize I had forgotten it.  Well what did I do?  I knew I would be late for work but I proceed to the next exit...went back home and got my ring.   I never go anywhere without my ring on because that's how much I love my  hubby!  LOL

Hey there lady!

I hear ALL of that...but just let me say, I am HAPPILY married and STILL go clubbing.  Absence makes the heart grow fonder.  I go and have my "me" time because I know when I come home....I have a warm welcome waiting for me.  Plus plus plus.....I love the time with my girlfriends and will never give up the sisterhood....it's good for my soul. And hubby wouldn't have it any other way.

And that goes vice versa.  He goes out with the boys and I have no problem with it....just bring home some of those good ass wings when you get home....I don't care what time it is.
 

When I used to live in VA, I had alot of grilfriends to hang out with.  Then when I moved to DE 8 years ago, my choice of friends grew smaller.  I have associates but not friends that I'd hang out with.   I admit, I need to go out more but with kids, work, church & married life,   I have no time....

Wish I had girlfriends that live closer to Wilmington that I could hang out with from time to time.  That would really make me happy!
