My mother in law has one and she loves it.  She is a big time reader and she says since she has this thing, she says she can read a lot more books faster.   She loves it but she says it needs a stylus though.  She says a stylus would pu**** over the top cause it would be easier to just touch and highlight

I played with it and it wouldn't be good for me cause I read more for school and like my hands on the page, but you can highlight and everything.

Nana saw it on Oprah and went bananas.  She was gonna get Jazz one for Christmas but they are on back order so she opted to get her the laptop instead.  I wi**** was available because it pains me that Jazz has to carry all of those heavy books to and from school everyday.  It would have been cool for her to download all her school books on this little gadget and tote it to and from school instead of those prehistoric heavy ass books!!!

So since you are her step-godmommy....just order TWO when you order yours!

Inspire,  I don't think it is really good for school only because when your reading a book you want to highlight and flip through and all.  You can do all that with the Kindle but I need to be able to touch my books I seem to learn better that way.

I used hers to check out a book and I didn't really like it as much as I prefer my text books.   For pleasure reading it is great and you can get a ton of newspapers.   It is super cool

I remember you telling me that Maybe I will get TWO......do you think the school will have a problem with it???

I don't know if schools will have a problem with it but I could see it being used to cheat so in some cases it may not be allowed.  It can do a lot of stuff you should watch the videos.

I don't know if I would allow a kid to use it on a open book test but for their own personal text reading I wouldn't care.

Lee that's what I was thinking. Also on the lines of kids stealing and fighting over them. Cause I know them IPOD things had these kids acting like fools one child lost his life over it!
