Top 10 List - Year after WLS

Whats up BAF, I been out but not down!!!
I just started a new Position that has me hella busy, so not much time to read or post on the board. I just wanted to drop in today and make a post.

I used to checkin and post offen, but I aint forgot about all of you who helped me by answering my questions, posted to my comments or posted things to someone else's questions that helped me also.

Tomorrow will be 1 year since I got my gut cut, and here is my
TOP 10 List

10. I lost road blocks and obstacles and gained a wide open highway without speed limits. 9. I lost a load of self imposed doubt and gained a mountain self confidence. 8. I lost a few associates and hype men and I gained the knowledge of who the real people are in my life. 7. I lost a preconceived comfort zone and I gained the faith walk out into the unknown. 6. I lost a few nick names (Big T, Big Boy, Big Playa, Big Homie, Big Daddy) I gained a few new nick names like Slim, T, and Daddy (but sometimes she still calls me Big Daddy) 5. I lost the need for a seat belt extension on the airplane and I gained a little extra leg and hip room during a long flight. 4. I lost the desire and ability to horde, devour, inhale, grub, and pig-out every time I see food, I gained the self love that allows me to say no thank you, maybe later or I’ll just have a taste (and really only taste) when I am offered food. 3. I lost those lazy habits that allow me to sit up eat and balloon up to 360lbs, I gained a love for exercise keeps me motivated to put my body in motion several times a week. 2. I LOST 140LBS, FRUSTRATION, AND HATE FOR CLOTHES SHOPPING, AND I GAIN COMFORT IN MY BODY, SATISFACTION OF KNOWING HOW TO CONTROL WEIGHT, AND A NEW FOUND APPRECIATION FOR CLOTHES SHOPPING.   1.I lost one greedy, greasy, fried chicken, hamburger, pizza, and soul food eattin busta as negro; I gained a portioned controlled, health conscious person who knows how to enjoy food without denying himself or pigging out just because food is available.


I know this was a long post, but thank for taking the time to read it.

You have done really good - and are one SEXY mofo - I told you that you remind me of my... ummm... well - you remind me of somebody I used to 'know' and if THAT mofo looked today like you look right now........ he wouldn't be USED to know NO MO!!!!!  LOL

You know i was driving back from new orleans last weekend, and I saw this silver G35 trying to pass big thirsty, and I had to make sure it wasnt you coming back from da casino.

Man - I half grew UP in the Achka Shaka!!! My granddaddy lived off West Montgomery/Shepard - halfway between Burns and Williams!  Shoooot - I feel like one of my FAMILY is gone with that loss right there!!!  My mom went to high school with one of the ladies that worked there - we had TIES man.... TIES!!!!  LMAOOOOO

Casino?  Me?  New Orleans???  HELLL to the NAWWWW Bobby!!!  I will never ever EVA go back there again - so NEVER worry nor fear that being MY G35!!!!!  LOL

You rollin big thirsty like that?  Gas prices just got you out frontin and chillin huh?  LMAO!!!

See Luuka Here, you trying to tell me that you never, ever , ever make that trip down to lake charles for a few hours of fun?  I aint saying that you got to blaze through all yo cash, but you can have a little fun w/o breaking da bank.

Now, I dont just put Big Thirsty on the road for nothing, My Dad, Brother and I went fishing just south of the NO, out of LaFitte Harbor

But I am greatful that the price of gas has gone down cause I have to drive a lot farther to get to my new job.  But I got gas for $1.31 on yesterday I am excited about that.  But if it ever gets back to the price that it was when I first started driving $0.75 I will fall the hell out. 

LOL @ $.75......... I might buy a whole damn TANKER truck full!!!!  HAHHAHAHHHA!

And no - Lake Charles or anything else east of the Texas boarder is a NO-NO!!!!!

I had a umm - bad experience at Essence 2 years ago..... I have mentally 'seperated' Louisana from the 50 contiguous...... LMAO!!!
