Yes...... she did and she keep bring up this new transfer student (boy) in the 11th grade. I told her "Jessica he much to old for you" I took her to school one morning and she said "there he go mom, There he goes." as if she was showing me a movie star...lol Carmel the boy had more facial hair then my husband

9th grade is a good age but, in moderation....i would say mascara and lip gloss. i'd take her to say the mac counter and explain that you want her to have LIGHT MAKE UP and they can show her how to apply it to her face properly.
i don't know if she has acne but, make up can either help or do harm.
i am laughing to myself at this comment....tell her "Black don't crack" so she doesn't need a lot of make up
